Here is a collection of small spot illustrations I created for the theme "Eat Detroit" about the Detroit-area good scene. This is a personal project and a style experiment. The first four illustrations focus on specific objects and the second four are more abstract/conceptual.

This was also some back-to-basics practice in spending more time working through thumbnails and concepts before jumping into the final art. Here's some of that preliminary work.
